Project Zodiac Part 2, Project Recycle and Project Power Ranger:

 

Horizon:

The preparation for this project had been completed last year, as I am still in the progress of doing Project Zodiac Part 2 and trying to get the remaining three guilds to Level 50. I am not sure when I will start on this project, but I foresee it will be able to keep me occupied till the end of the year like the previous Project Ferrari. I will try to update on the progress as I am doing it like the previous projects, as I will most likely start doing it when there are no events so that I will be able to maintain a constant data for the final analysis.

At the present moment I had already halfway through another project which I named Project Recycle where I try to make new toon just to equip the left over Weapon and Armor Set, the Weapon are all -20 with -10 seal together with Level 10 Chaos Opal. I did try to give away some during the previous Christmas Giveaway but seem that no players really want it, and I had also manage too get a few more over the years and they are taking up precious inventory space.

I had completed the Level 89 and Level 113 Assassin, and there are still Level 110 Night Shadow, Level 113 Witch and Arch Wizard, Level 155 Specialist to complete. The Project Zodiac Part 2 also still in progress with Level 15 Mage, Level 30 Mage, Level 43 Wizard and Level 70 Archer completed, there are still Level 102 Royal Knight, Level 122 Ranger, Archer, Specialist, War Master, Level 132 Witch, Level 136 Night Shadow, Level 150 Ex Ranger, Level 174 Ex Ranger and Level 180 Night Shadow left to complete.

 P.S.:

Manage to level the first Power Ranger to Level 130 and complete the Mond Entry in just 3 hours, didn't want to start early but I need toon to be Merchant to trade the Anniversary Weapon Cover. Since there is 150% Dungeon Time, I can level fast and get over it before I leave it for testing later for higher level. I was planning to level the second one but I will stop at Level 124 after 2 hours and leave the Vlad Entry, Vlad Quest and Mond Entry for later as it is getting late and I got to wake up early for my course.

Game Mechnics:

 Horizon:

A lot of players had been playing the game like no brainer, they did not have the curiosity to explore to understand more about the hidden secrets or how it is design to work that way. I had discovered a few over the years and decided to share it for the benefit of the majority, if they had been reading my blog they would have known a few which I posted in the Chaos Theory.

The charging of ignition is related to the amount of SP the mobs give, I had manage to discover it when I realized that I am able to charge and activate two different level of ignition when I am doing SP Farming on Sassy. I had also recently discovered that I am able to maintain continuous Level 2 Ignition with my Level 90 Ex Ranger on Cursed Weaver and Curse Lich at Egeha.

The coming Project Power Ranger will be testing different level mobs for SP Farming to see if this theory is correct, I had all the resources I need with different level armor sets and weapons with different weapon using Level 10 Chaos Opal which allow -10 Level and Level 2 Chaos Black Pearl for 15% Weapon Attack. I am also in the progress of getting my three other Guilds to Level 50 while trying out the AOE Skills for Project Zodiac Part 2, so basically I will be busy till the end of the years with so many tasks planned.

Recently they are having Artifact Event, there are a lot of dramas as usual. But why the wings are equip as an accessories instead of a back pack? As the event is design in such a way that the players need to combine the artifact, it is only possible to do it with accessories instead of back pack as the game had already design a accessories combination box at Merchant Geres like the other combination box for crafting minerals or upgrading Moonstones.

Now what about the Herb Knife, Energy Collector Pick Axe and Hammer for harvesting materials for crafting? As different class had different weapon and the harvesting tools are equip at the Weapon Slot, it will not be possible to design a common harvesting tools for all class. So that will be a thing that most players had to accept and continue to live with it for the rest of their life as it will be too much work for the developer to change such a minor issue.

And until now I still convince that the Pet Exp Gain is every 3 hits instead of 3.5 seconds as I had notice every dual class had different type of weapon which one is with lower attack but faster speed while the other is with higher attack and lower speed. Even the hit rate really make a different as I had tested with low level toon on high level mobs before.

The dual class are also design in such way that one is better for PVE while the other is better for PVP, a lot of players would disagree with it as it had change a lot over the years when they try to balance the PVP system so that all class will not have unfair advantage over the other class. Even the skills are also meant to counter each other like the previous elemental system which they had remove where a lot of players are unable to understand it.

There are a lot of good design which had been change over the years which they did it just to please the majority which is more towards PVP and it had affected those who are interested in PVE, and elemental system is one of those which help to reduce the effects between both side if they can really understand why the game is design this way before they decide to make any unnecessary changes which will bring more issue to the game.

The only thing I am still trying to figure out is why I can only upgrade the Pet Weapon and Armor with LSS, CSS and ES, it would be better if we can get those to +30 instead of just +15 if we are able to use Heaven Stone. I am not sure if Master Stone will work for that as I do not have the resources to try it out yet, also not sure if I would want to waste any PRS on it as it will only last for 30 days.

Really miss the good old days during Aeria time where we got so much more players and discuss about everything related to the game in the forum and can even come out with so many formula to calculate Upgrade Bonus, Pet Cool Down, Pet Exp Gain, Pet Hunger, etc. They should really give us a PHD for playing this game as it really require a lot of knowledge to prove a lot of theories. 

Future Proof:

Pandora:

Manage to find some Level 13 and 14 Chaos Corals, all my toon on this server are getting 60K to 80K HP. Situation seem to improve on this server after the transfer as it had become easier to get stuffs after some players transfer some of their toon and stuffs here, but the situation had become worst on Horizon with some Osiris players enforcing their bad culture and hogging limited resources.

The main issue is that they always offer to buy stuffs at half the market price and expect to sell their stuffs at double the market price, they are treating other players like an idiot and keep claiming that they are new with not much gold and expect other players to do some charity and give them stuffs for free. But since the situation had improved on Pandora with more players and more stuffs it is not logical that Osiris players did not bring their stuffs over to Horizon.

There might be another explanation for the current situation on Horizon, some old players might be using the opportunity to make new toon just to scam other players which I know a few of them who had done the same before. As I had encounter a lot of ungrateful players in the past, I had decided to ignore most of their request for help. This is not a very good sign for the server as there might be genuine new players who really need all the help they could get, but there are too many of them who display the same profile behavior that fit those old players who had disappear suddenly and haven't been seen actively on other server as they had claimed.

Since the situation had improved a lot on Pandora and I had get use to the lifestyle there, I guess I will be playing more on that server in the future. Unless the situation on Horizon start to improve I will continue to ignore all the drama they trying to start just to get my attention, it will also be good for me as they had no idea what I am doing now and start showing signs of them going crazy over it.

P.S.:

Notice a lot of players from IMPERIO Guild are farming at Wafe for the Easter Event, not sure if they are getting good drop rate for that. I think TOF will be a better choice as usually we get 50% more drop from dungeons, even those high level are farming in Dark Tomb and Lab. 

Notice a lot of new players start to get frustrated and want to quit, this is mainly because they are unable to get help from other players or get the  stuffs they need at lower price. They are also unable to sell any of their stuffs at higher price too, and all these had make it hard for them to survive.

 

Event Horizon:

 

Horizon:

Trying a few new setup which will allow me to use AOE of different class, it is still in working progress and I had already completed a few easy one. First is a Level 15 Mage with Level 1 Flame Storm, it will be use to farm on Level 12 Sassy to Level 18 Drake for some events. Next is a Level 30 Mage with Level 5 Flame Storm, it will be use to farm on Level 27 Orc Axeman to Level 33 Pilferer for some events.

Then is a Level 43 Wizard with Level 5 Flame Field, it was originally plan to be Level 38 but I got to gain a few level to ensure I had enough stats for the skill. Not sure what I will be using it for yet as i already got a few Level 40 toons for most events, but this one will be able to use AOE so might replace it for Anniversary and Halloween Event if its performance turn out better than other toons.

Last is a Level 70 Archer with Level 5 Paralyzing Arrows, this one will be a good replacement for TOF and Kami. Actually a Level 60 Cleric with Level 1 Soul Purification might be better, but I just want to try it out to compare the different. I also noticed that most mobs are not that populated enough for AOE to be effective, so the Level 1 Arrow of Blue Wind might work better instead.

As I had always thought that AOE will allow faster kill, but my experience had proven that some single target skill seem to work better when it come to charging ignition. That is why I switch my Level 87 Witch to Level 87 Ex Ranger as it can ensure continuous Level 2 Ignition better. I seem to prefer this setup better now as it can farm gold, get lots of Treasure Maps and spawn Raid Boss, the other better setup are still Level 33 and Level 53 toons.

The only one that doesn't really work well enough is the Level 67 toon, as mobs in Dratan stop dropping Treasure Map after new patch last year. Seldom really use Level 33 and 53 toon much since I had completed their affinity, so now I am trying to use the same setup for all server for easy operation. Might be using them together with my farming toon again when there are not events.

Also going to setup a few other toon in the future for testing, one is a Level 132 Witch with Level 1 Dark Smog. Level 122 Archer with Level 1 Deadline, Level 122 Specialist with Level 1 Meteor, Level 122 War Master with Level 1 Spin Chop are a few of the toon in the planning too including a Level 136 Night Shadow with Level 1 Deadly Light. But I might try it out on Pandora first as I can level faster with perm 200% XP and SP, and recently a lot of players are discussing about skipping Tomb and go straight to Travia Sorcerer instead for faster leveling.

Level Up:

 Horizon:

Manage to level up the Ex Ranger from Level 161 to Level 164 in a day with the 500% XP Event, not sure if I want to start on another toon as I had been busy attending a lot of courses recently. I only plan for 3 basic courses at first but after they found out that I am able to clear the assessments with ease they ask me to go for higher level courses, now I got to attend another 11 more courses. Basically I got most of my time occupied from last year November to this year June, I only had a one months break in May where I would not be able to do the Anniversary and Easter Event.

Either way I am still leveling up myself in real life and it is pretty much like doing quests in game, I had never try to do it fast and always lay a good foundation before I proceed on to the next stage. The only different from game is that real life doesn't have any second chance where you can start over and redo the process to fix the mistakes that you make before, so it require proper planning and also the ability to adapt and make necessary changes to suit the situation whenever it is needed.

As usual I had always follow my gut feelings and I am sure everything will come into place when the time is right, it is better to do it and regret for a while than not to do it and regret it for life. People must have the courage to accept of the consequences that come with their actions, they should not push the responsibility and blame other for what is unfair to them. Everything happen for a reason and for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, you can't expect that after doing a lot of bad things and still get away from any retribution or karma.

As most of the people who had read my blog, some of them might had already noticed that there are a lot of hidden meanings in it. Not many of them are able to understand but for those who do they will really benefit in life, most of it are the knowledge and experience which I had gain over the years and some of it are the encounters of other people whom I know and had see me trustworthy enough to share their personal experience with me. As I had always say, it is not about gaining fame and attention but only to record the truth and share the knowledge and experience. 

 P.S.:

Manage to level my Royal Knight from Level 131 to Level 138, not bad for ad hoc gaming as I am busy attending courses and unable to play much. I am going to level this toon slowly to Level 175 to wear the Level 170 Set, it will then be use for farming Dark Tomb Entry Ticket in Lab and Ramslo in Tairan. I will be using Lucky Spell Book for more drops, Random Booster to speed up the progress and potions to boost the attack so that it can kill faster.

Compare to Ex Ranger it had a lower damage which make it kill slower, but I was surprised that it is able to tank damage from higher level mobs which I am only able to do on Ex Ranger at Level 147 when it wear the Level 140 Set. Each Class had their advantage and disadvantage, it is depending on what players prefer more. So far I had prefer Royal Knight and Ex Ranger better than other class, but most players prefer those class with AOE for faster leveling. 

Evolution:

 

Pandora and Osiris:

Had been able to upgrade my gears for my toon on Pandora and Osiris during the Upgrade and Jewel Event recently, basically just change from Level 60 Set to Level 70 to 80 Set and meld Chaos Black Pearl Level 2 to Weapon and Chaos Coral Level 14 to Armor and Accessory. I was able to get most of the stuffs on Osiris easy but I got to farm for Erebus Set on Pandora, but overall it still able to get the job done.

Try out the gears after I completed them after the events and the result is very good which exceed my expectation, it kind of boost the attack by double and able to keep charging ignition without any break in between. With the boost I am able to increase the spawn rate from 50% to 75% on Pandora and 25% to 50% on Osiris, this is a very good result as it will make players in Osiris beg for mercy.

They had been trying to take advantage of other players whenever they can, and this will teach them a lesson and make them behave. Pandora seem to be back to the usual quiet server after the migration, guess most player decided to move to a more populated server which is good for my testing. Osiris also seem to switch places with Horizon with a lot of players moving between the two servers, it is not looking good for both servers as players try to enforce their culture from other server to the one they migrate to.

There seem to be a demand for Premium stuffs like Prem Char +, Level 185 Jump and Max Level Phoenix Ticket on both Osiris and Horizon. It will be good business for those pay to win players as they can get a lot of golds from selling stuffs they get from Loyalty Rewards, I had decided to maintain all my premium stuffs on Horizon so that I can enjoy the fresh start on both Pandora and Osiris to see if I can achieve the same I did on Horizon.

So far things had been looking good as I am able to get as close as possible to my over power toon on Horizon, with the duplicated success I can live comfortably on all servers and get the freedom of choice to play whichever one I prefer. The coming Valentine Event I will be spending most of my time to wrap 10K of Chocolate on Horizon to get another 20 years worth of potions, I will try to farm a bit on both Pandora and Osiris to ensure I get the stuffs I need for future use.

Someone ask what is the value of Golden Key on Osiris, as it is a weird question since the item is non tradable like Token. But since it need 250 Wooden Key to trade for one and Wooden Key is worth about 400K, my guess will be about 100M. But the stuffs you get from opening the box will worth more, as Exp Pets is about 300M, Red Diesel is about 200M, Legendary Scroll and Socket Reset Card is about 150M.

The same goes for Gold Token as it will be able to get Lucky Smelting Stone worth about 20M and Chaos Smelting Stone worth about 40M, but it is also not tradable so it is usually use by most players to change the class for their weapon and armor with Collector Ryl. I had been using Moonstone to get Minerals whenever it get above 1K and using Token whenever they get above 500, it kind of allow me to sustain a constant supply of Minerals to boost my Attack whenever my ignition is not ready.

But with the recently setup I don't think I will need to use much Minerals in the future as my attack is already double, I had also thought of increasing the toon by one more level so that they can get ignition on the last area of Akan Temple but I think the 20% Attack Buff from Lumina is much better in long run as I would not do Akan Temple much as compare to spawning Grand Gold Dragon. 

 

 P.S.:

 Finally manage to get Speed Boots after more than 1K of drops, drop rate still bad as compare to other server but got the class I wanted. If the drop come earlier I would have upgrade and jewel it, I guess cool down helmet is not that popular after the flood of cool down accessory. But I will just keep farming for more in case it became popular again, I will slowly try to farm the same for higher level as I can collect data to see how long it take to get good gears.

I can also just accept those B5E or -10 Level too as they are more easily available, but since I am going to play for long I might as well take my own sweet time to collect more information for future reference. I thought I am just going to wrap about 2K of Chocolate per day but end up wrapping about 3K to 4K, at that rate I might be able to complete all in just 3 days instead of 5 days. 

Someone also ask about the price for Iludeteirun Summon Book, it use to be 200K but now is about 500K to 1M for all Summon Book except for Barren Eise which is 6M. Some players had make the calculation and found that both Barren Eise Summon Book and Super Haste Potion should be that price to break even, but now the market is flooded with 1M to 3M Super Haste Potion on Osiris that it is not worth to sell it but keep for own use instead.

Treasure Hunting:

 Osiris and Pandora:

Been playing on Osiris and Pandora since the Christmas Event had ended, got few toon need to level up and also need to farm some gold for their Merchant Profession. Not sure if it was my imagination or what, Osiris seem to be much empty than I had encounter before. I am able to use my Level 90 toon to farm at Egeha without much issues, and had been able to get a lot of Treasure Maps for Treasure Hunt.

Not sure why Fawkes wanted to make changes to the location of Treasure Chest after the migration, but the changes are one of the stupid ideas like most of those they did after the migration. The system were working well and now after they change it and make it look dumb, they had change the location of most of the treasure chests to higher ground which most of them cannot be access.

That goes to show they did not really try out the changes themself before they decided to launch it, they are just trying to show that they are doing something but without thinking about the consequences that come with it. I am not saying that all the changes they make are bad, but when most of their bright ideas doesn't really work well they might as well stick to the old system which had been working well all these years. 

 

 

P.S.:

The players on Osiris will be having a very hard time finding Grand Gold Dragon for completing their Veteran Quest while I am playing there, it is kind of Karma to them for trying to scam other players. Usually they will always offer lower than Market Rate price for buying stuffs and try to resell them at higher than Market Rate price, the Market Rate for spawning Grand Gold Dragon had been 500M, and I would have accept 1B if the players had been nice. I had already spawn a few for free for other players during the past few days, and it is not a wise move to promise something more than you can offer.

Most players will promise to pay after they had killed the Grand Gold Dragon, they will add my toon to friend list and then teleport to my toon location and kill the Grand Gold Dragon without paying the amount they had promise. After a few incident I had become smarter, and since my new toon is only 4 days old and can't use the world chat, I can only use my buff toon in town for that purpose. And it will be to my advantage as they would not be able to know the location of the spawn without paying me first.

I had decided to block 3 players which I think are the alternate of the scammer and they are not going to get any Grand Gold Dragon for a very long time unless they make a public apology for calling me a liar and also paying me 10 times more than what they promise me earlier. The real reason most players find it hard to spawn Grand Gold Dragon is that they do not have the patient, most of the time they will go AFK after they ask for help and it is their own fault for not able to get Grand Gold Dragon.

Most of them are long time players with a lot of stuffs to sell which is worth few hundred billions and it is not that they cannot afford to pay the small amount for the service but it is already deep in their blood to take advantage of other players. I don't understand what is the point of being the richest person with most stuffs on the server when nobody wanted to be your friend? 

My new toon is only 4 days old and had already had close to 80 Medal of Honor in it inventory, and from the screen shot it can clearly seen that the two Dragons are spawn at different channel withing few mins apart. Why would I bother to scam as I am not planning to play that server for long? I had already manage to farm 300M for my new toon Merchant Profession 2 days ago and was just passing time while I complete the same for my toon on Pandora.

 They still refuse to believe that I am able to spawn Grand Gold Dragon until now, and they had been having a hard time looking for it for the past few days. I had turn off the Continuous Attack under option to help me kill faster with skills and active Level 2 Ignition whenever it charge up, with that killing speed I don't think they will be able to Kill Steal anymore like what they try to do yesterday. Wearing a suit doesn't really make you a real gentleman, you are dealing with a Rogue here.

Legends:

 Finally manage to level up my Phoenix Pet to Level 100 and Evolve into Mount, took me about 2 months. The last time on Phoenix Server I only manage to level it to Level 85 before the server shut down after a month, but my toon is also manage to level to Level 160 as compare to Level 165 now in just 2 weeks or a month.
