Project Zodiac Part 2 and Project Recycle 2.0:

 








Horizon:

Make use of the 500% XP and 150% Dungeon Time Events to level up a few toons from my Project Zodiac Part 2 and  Project Recycle, of course I had manage to upgrade their gears during the 200% Upgrade Event before that. Both Project Zodiac Part 2 and Project Recycle are half way through with most of the toons which are Level 136 and below completed, only left a few toons which are above Level 136 prepared with Mond Entry completed.

The remaining toons are Level 150 Ex Ranger, Level 155 Specialist and Level 174 Ex Ranger, planning to slowly level them in Tairan when there are other 500% XP Event available. The Level 150 Ex Ranger and Level 155 Specialist are plan for Mondshine to farm Sio Affinity and Skeleton General Boss, the Level 174 Ex Ranger is plan for Tairan to farm HS5 on Ghoul. Although I had already had Level 150 Cleric and Level 164 Ex Ranger for those purpose, it will be good to have additional back up in case I need it in the future.

The same goes for the Level 185 Ex Ranger which I use for Lab and Rammy, I had also created another Level 185 RK and NS for the same purpose too. Still not sure what I am going to use for those Project Recycle toons yet as I had already had other toons that serve the same purpose, maybe just play around with them when I am bored and see how far they can go. There are also Level 102 RK and Level 122 Ranger from Project Zodiac Part 2 that need to work on due to some hiccup, but that is not really a big issue as I just have to wait for another 200% Upgrade Event and 500% SP Event to fix that.


 P.S.:

Manage to complete the Veteran Quest for the Level 102 RK, got enough Skill Point to learn the skill. Will slowly complete all the Veteran Quest for other toons, after all of them are ready I will start trying out their skills. So far I found that I can maintain continue Level 2 Ignition until Egeha, not sure if Project Power Ranger had the potential to continue. At least I am able to try out all classes and found that Ex Ranger are better with higher damage, even those classes with AOE are unable to maintain continue Level 2 Ignition like Ex Ranger.

Project Zodiac Part 2, Project Recycle and Project Power Ranger:


 


Horizon:

The preparation for this project had been completed last year, as I am still in the progress of doing Project Zodiac Part 2 and trying to get the remaining three guilds to Level 50. I am not sure when I will start on this project, but I foresee it will be able to keep me occupied till the end of the year like the previous Project Ferrari. I will try to update on the progress as I am doing it like the previous projects, as I will most likely start doing it when there are no events so that I will be able to maintain a constant data for the final analysis.

At the present moment I had already halfway through another project which I named Project Recycle where I try to make new toon just to equip the left over Weapon and Armor Set, the Weapon are all -20 with -10 seal together with Level 10 Chaos Opal. I did try to give away some during the previous Christmas Giveaway but seem that no players really want it, and I had also manage too get a few more over the years and they are taking up precious inventory space.

I had completed the Level 89 and Level 113 Assassin, and there are still Level 110 Night Shadow, Level 113 Witch and Arch Wizard, Level 155 Specialist to complete. The Project Zodiac Part 2 also still in progress with Level 15 Mage, Level 30 Mage, Level 43 Wizard and Level 70 Archer completed, there are still Level 102 Royal Knight, Level 122 Ranger, Archer, Specialist, War Master, Level 132 Witch, Level 136 Night Shadow, Level 150 Ex Ranger, Level 174 Ex Ranger and Level 180 Night Shadow left to complete.


 P.S.:

Manage to level the first Power Ranger to Level 130 and complete the Mond Entry in just 3 hours, didn't want to start early but I need toon to be Merchant to trade the Anniversary Weapon Cover. Since there is 150% Dungeon Time, I can level fast and get over it before I leave it for testing later for higher level. I was planning to level the second one but I will stop at Level 124 after 2 hours and leave the Vlad Entry, Vlad Quest and Mond Entry for later as it is getting late and I got to wake up early for my course.

Game Mechnics:

A lot of players had been playing the game like no brainer, they did not have the curiosity to explore to understand more about the hidden secrets or how it is design to work that way. I had discovered a few over the years and decided to share it for the benefit of the majority, if they had been reading my blog they would have known a few which I posted in the Chaos Theory.

The charging of ignition is related to the amount of SP the mobs give, I had manage to discover it when I realized that I am able to charge and activate two different level of ignition when I am doing SP Farming on Sassy. I had also recently discovered that I am able to maintain continuous Level 2 Ignition with my Level 90 Ex Ranger on Cursed Weaver and Curse Lich at Egeha.

The coming Project Power Ranger will be testing different level mobs for SP Farming to see if this theory is correct, I had all the resources I need with different level armor sets and weapons with different weapon using Level 10 Chaos Opal which allow -10 Level and Level 2 Chaos Black Pearl for 15% Weapon Attack. I am also in the progress of getting my three other Guilds to Level 50 while trying out the AOE Skills for Project Zodiac Part 2, so basically I will be busy till the end of the years with so many tasks planned.

Recently they are having Artifact Event, there are a lot of dramas as usual. But why the wings are equip as an accessories instead of a back pack? As the event is design in such a way that the players need to combine the artifact, it is only possible to do it with accessories instead of back pack as the game had already design a accessories combination box at Merchant Geres like the other combination box for crafting minerals or upgrading Moonstones.

Now what about the Herb Knife, Energy Collector Pick Axe and Hammer for harvesting materials for crafting? As different class had different weapon and the harvesting tools are equip at the Weapon Slot, it will not be possible to design a common harvesting tools for all class. So that will be a thing that most players had to accept and continue to live with it for the rest of their life as it will be too much work for the developer to change such a minor issue.

And until now I still convince that the Pet Exp Gain is every 3 hits instead of 3.5 seconds as I had notice every dual class had different type of weapon which one is with lower attack but faster speed while the other is with higher attack and lower speed. Even the hit rate really make a different as I had tested with low level toon on high level mobs before.

The dual class are also design in such way that one is better for PVE while the other is better for PVP, a lot of players would disagree with it as it had change a lot over the years when they try to balance the PVP system so that all class will not have unfair advantage over the other class. Even the skills are also meant to counter each other like the previous elemental system which they had remove where a lot of players are unable to understand it.

There are a lot of good design which had been change over the years which they did it just to please the majority which is more towards PVP and it had affected those who are interested in PVE, and elemental system is one of those which help to reduce the effects between both side if they can really understand why the game is design this way before they decide to make any unnecessary changes which will bring more issue to the game.

The only thing I am still trying to figure out is why I can only upgrade the Pet Weapon and Armor with LSS, CSS and ES, it would be better if we can get those to +30 instead of just +15 if we are able to use Heaven Stone. I am not sure if Master Stone will work for that as I do not have the resources to try it out yet, also not sure if I would want to waste any PRS on it as it will only last for 30 days.

Really miss the good old days during Aeria time where we got so much more players and discuss about everything related to the game in the forum and can even come out with so many formula to calculate Upgrade Bonus, Pet Cool Down, Pet Exp Gain, Pet Hunger, etc. They should really give us a PHD for playing this game as it really require a lot of knowledge to prove a lot of theories.
