Down Time:

Server been under DDOS attack for the past two weeks, longest down time was more than 12 hrs. Since I couldn't play much I had go back to play Final Fantasy VIII.

I try out the PC Version with Steam Link App first, it was ok other than bad connection once in a while. Then I decided to try out the Android Version on my phone, found it much better.

The PC Version have a Boost function after you complete the game which give you some magic to junction without having to draw it again. The only draw back is there will be less slot for other magic.

The Android Version had 3x Speed and Invincible Mode which speed up the process and make it so much easier. The only draw back is that it will be not challenging as before.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly:

Give my Level 57 Horse to Elvis as he will be giving more buff than me, the next one will be ready in about 3 to 4 weeks. Some players will always do what is best for the majority, they truly understand that it is just a game. I had receive a lot of help from them since I started back before the migration, now is the time to repay their kindness.

Not all players really show appreciation, some of them are selfish and only think for themselves.  They care too much about their gain and loss, treat other players like an idiot and try to take advantage of others. Slowly they build a bad reputation and most players start to ignore them, they will not be able to get much help or even get the stuffs they need.

A new player named MiMi keep whining that blue mob doesn't drop event item, when I ask her why is that so a lot of other players start to give their opinions. Some say only getting Rain Drop from blue mob but not Insect other than last Insect Collection Event, but I told them I had been getting Insect from blue mob since Gamigo time and Fawkes had not make any changes since then.

I also point out that blue mob also drop a lot of other stuffs like Token and Moonstone Box, and it still give Ignition as long as it is within 6 Level different. I go on to elaborate that green mob doesn't drop Treasure Map or Iris Element and doesn't give Blood Seal when they are 5 Level different, but it will still give when it is 4 Level different.

The reason that MiMi doesn't get XPB most likely is because the event clearly stated it is for Level 1 to 35 and it is only Proycon Temple, MiMi is already Level 63 and some other players still think this event also include Velpist Temple too like the Gold Booster. Assume = Ass U and Me, it is like the blind leading the blind when they don't even bother to read the fine print or really try it out themselves.

Most of them just think they got a lot of experience after playing for few years, or think they know everything when they refer to the info provided in the Weebly site. I guess a lot of them are going to hate me for telling the truth and publicly shaming them, but I wouldn't bother much about them as they don't really contribute much to the community.

Another player named Big Natty Crits had been destroying all the remaining Dratan Flower even after it had manage to spawn the Elemental Boss, I am not sure it is just targeting me or all the pet leveler but I just had to shift my location to Merac. I also don't understand what is the point of keeping the Elemental Boss since they had already remove the Elemental Jewel, a lot of changes they make just doesn't make any sense to me.

Mission Impossible:

 

Pandora:

Try to level a Ex Ranger and see how far I can go, took about 7 hours and manage to reach Level 103. It was not easy as I do not have any good accessory or buff to support it, but overall it still turn out well. The procedure will be as follows:

Get to Level 9 by and start SP farming on Sassy with LSP and SPB for an hour or two, you should get about 10K of SP by the time you finished the 1K SPB. Then continue to level to Level 20 and go to Procyon Temple until you get the Level 31 Set, you can use LSP if you want. Make sure you choose your dual class, learn all the passive skill and learn the highest damage active skill.

You can now go to Temple of Forgetfulness using LI, XPB, Cool Down, HP and MP Steal until you get Level 60 Set. After that you can go Tomb until you reach Level 100 or more, but it will be advisable to learn more passive skill and the highest damage active skill and also relog to refresh your Elizabeth Buff. The trick is just to keep spamming skill as you have Skill Cool Down and MP Steal, the HP Steal and fast leveling with LI and XPB will ensure you survive the higher level mob.

Horizon:

I decided to try out the same on Royal Knight after 6ix 9ine say it is trying to level a knight for Phoenix, the good thing is that I got good accessory and GM Buff to provide good support. But the result turn out to be a surprise as I only manage to reach Level 95 as Sphinx Commander seem too difficult for me, but overall it is still satisfactory as I only did it in 4 hours as I did not SP Farm on Sassy.

The lack of Invisible Skill and Range Attack also a major contribution to the failure as getting pass Anubis Archer became difficult, so certain class still got better advantage in this area and would be a better choice for it. Have try using Wizard using AOE Skill but found that the defense is too weak to tank when getting mobbed by too many mob, the situation is still manageable in Temple of Forgetfulness but it became worst in Tomb.

Aphelion:

They have start a Daily Log In Reward System, all the stuffs are character bound and having issue of opening in bulk. They have make mob in Mushroom Land to drop Level 200 Gear, it is a move to make it easy for newbie like the three Gift of Star Accessory, Superior PBI and Title Status Boost. But a lot of players seem to lose interest in it as there are not much events or new contents, the main reason that contribute to that is mainly because they Nerf a lot of things and doesn't really allow players the freedom of choice.

Actually it will came to the same result sooner or later, I will try my best to explain the theory. If they make it too easy, a lot of players will complete fast and find it boring. If they make it too hard, a lot of players will start complaining about it and quit. They have to strike a perfect balance between the two extreme and by doing that they become not much different as compare to official server.

They had increase Drop Rate and XP to make it easy for players to get stuffs and level, but they also have to increase the amount of mob require to kill for quest or amount of item require to collect for pictorial book. The only advantage they had so far are free cash for players and improved user interface like Buff, Auto Laca Ball and Moonstone, but all these are going to change soon when the official server start to do the same in near future.

The greatest advantage the official server had is the wide variety of events, and they are trying their best to improve on the rewards to make it more enjoyable for players. They also did not try to make players follow a fixed path for leveling and offer players a wide variety of option to choose their own path.

They had introduced a Loyalty Rewards System, the more Fawkes Gems you spend the better rewards you get. It split into Beginning, Seasonal, PVP and PVE, think Beginning and Seasonal stack together but not sure if PVP and PVE stack. The rewards are as follows:

As you can see to make the best of it you will need to spend $100 per month for a period of 3 months to get the most stuff up to 7000 Gems for Seasonal and 3 x Beginning and PVE at 2750 Gems and 2500 Gems. Some might go for PVP at 2600 Gems too if they like to do Castle Siege. It will flood the market with more cheap stuffs, only not sure if it was good or bad.

Saw a strange situation, a Archer named Rinsh was at Channel 2 Dratan Flower near Jinarr NPC together with my pet leveler. I thought he was also leveling his horse, but the next moment the flower was killed and spawn Muta Elemental Boss. I was planning to teleport my pet leveler back to town as I notice the other pet leveler got killed by Muta at another location near Estella, but I saw him manage to kill Muta in just a few seconds so I decided to target another Dratan Flower and continue to level my horse.

But before I can do it, I saw him hitting the last remaining Dratan Flower and kill it within a few seconds. Now I was like OMGWTFBBQ, I realized that he was not leveling his horse at all. Maybe there is a chance that he is really trying to level his horse but didn't realized that he need to use a weaker toon or weapon, but the fact that it happen at both location and he never let any flower remain became highly doubtful to me.

I had to assume he is trying to harass pet leveler, but I was surprise he did not do the same when I switch to Channel 5. If it was unintentional, then he must be a noob who doesn't really have any knowledge and experience. So he is just being boostful when he say he got a few max level toon on other server and leveling is easy, but either way he is going to be dislike by most players and will slowly quit and left.

There is another player named Kirito who is trying to buy Level 120 Jump Box at 20B, he is able to buy from Item Mall but he thinks it will be better to sell Fawkes Gems and use the gold to buy cheap from other players instead. The Item Mall price is about 50B, who in the right mind would ever sell it to him for 20B? Really dislike those players who treats other people like an idiot and try to take advantage of others.
